Pantanal Escapes

This YouTube video is a segment from a local Brazilian news programme showing the annual Festival Internacional da Pesca (International Festival of Fishing) occurring each year in Cáceres. The festival is a huge event encouraging thousands of local kids to try their luck at fishing, with the adults also forming teams of three out in boats. Each of these teams has eight hours to score as many points as they can by catching fish - with points based on the size and type of fishing. This is catch and release fishing - so that (most) fish caught get returned back to the river. The competition generally runs for a period of several days.
